Here’s what Silent Hill would look like in the Unreal Engine - taylorwituessarks43

Cafe 5to2 is an iconic location from the master copy Soundless Benny Hill, where players wake up after a alarming monster attack near the beginning of the game. Disregardless how many times you've played through with Inarticulate Alfred Hawthorne though, you've never seen the little diner look alike this. Feast your eyes on the Unreal Engine reading of Silent Hill.

3D artist Mica Olsson, World Health Organization works at Goodbye Kansas Studios in Stockholm, has recreated Cafe 5to2 in stunning fidelity using the Unreal Engine and the Quixels Megascans program library. All the little details are there: the Medieval Madness pinball game put of, the cheap metal-framed chairs, and the little red radio circle that triggers the strain screamer attack. Most of all though, the grungy feel of the original PlayStation game is present through and through, simply updated to look amazing in 2020.

We've been lucky to encounter a run of fantastic House physician Satanic remakes on PC in the past couple years, and we'll be seeing Occupier Evil 3 in a few short months as well. Merely Silent Mound is unmoving achy for a comeback – even though information technology's still as nervous as e'er, it's definitely showing its advance age.

Here's the demo of Olsson's Silent Mound buff remake:

Modern technical school lets light from outside the cafe seep through the unclean windows, and you put up almost feel the chill in the air on the other side American Samoa rubble and leaves flutter past on the wind instrument. The floor is banged up, the tile willy-nilly patched over with self-leveling cement in unmatchable place. Information technology's a truly impressive piece of body of work. You can see a full gallery of screenshots over at Olsson's ArtStation page.

The biggest effect, however, is how IT makes United States desperately long-wool for a late, full-fledged Silent Hill remake. Let's Leslie Townes Hope somebody at Konami feels the same way.

In the meantime, have a look through our list of the best repulsion games on PC.
